Standing in north-east Milan, the Pinacoteca di Brera (Brera Art Gallery) contains one of the most important art collections in Italy.
Housed in a late 16th-century palazzo, Milan's Pinacoteca di Brera features 31 separate rooms, filled with great works of art. Many masterpieces by leading Italian artists are exhibited at the Brera Art Gallery, including works by Raphael, Caravaggio and Mantegna. The Pinacoteca di Brera also regularly hosts popular events and temporary exhibitions throughout the Milan calendar.
